If it was to a different folder on the same drive, then they (the backups) could also be suspect of corruption. YOu have mentioned that you have 'backup' files of your quicken data. Depending on the problem, there can be several things happeneing to your system.Ī) hard Drive getting 'bad block' errors on the 'allocation tables' ,where the HDD keeps the index records of the file names.ī) A Virus infection, that is keeping certain files, and preventing the proper operation from happening.
